A true legend of nitro, the popular LA Hooker of the Beaver & Condit Brothers. The front features the "Beaver Brothers & Condit LA HOOKER 784 AA/FC" text screen printed on the left chest. The back of this tee features a full design of the popular '76 Mustang II LA Hooker funny car that appeared on the track with the caption "$500 A Ride". Although it carries a rather risqué name, the $500 is the cost to run on the track back in its day. That's right guys, get your mind out of the gutter!
Who Are The Beaver & Condit Brothers?
They are some of the California nitro addicts that gave this great looking funny car legendary stories to tell for years to come. This team was known for its pioneering innovations, winning "Best in Engineering" at the Big Go in Indianapolis. From 1969 to the 1980's they could always be counted on putting on a great show and their reputation for terrorizing the west coast drag strip still lives on.
