One of our favorite pastimes in between artwork designs is dreaming up ways to customize our most-liked vehicles.  The ’49 Merc seems to always come to mind, maybe it is because it’s a big hunk of lead or maybe it is because of the creative nature of this beast to be able to shave off all its trim.  At any rate, this lead sled is definitely not known for its speed but its got “style” written all over it.

This classic ’49 Merc has been severely chopped, dropped and we have added side pipes and blue-dot oval taillights.  It is sporting traditional white walls with Cadillac hubcaps.   The paint job on this beauty is a black satin finish with crimson red flames.

The background of this design has a modified version of the classic Maltese cross with a cracked skull.  It’s dark, it’s vintage, and the entire crew here at Hot Rods by Stith is sporting this new design.
