Jim Dunn started driving at the age of 19 in Santa Anita, CA in 1953 and his passion for the nitro is evident by his track record.
In 1972 Dunn built the first of two rear-engine Funny Cars. He won the 1972 Supernational and won some divisional point races, as seen in the 1972 Funny Car Summer movie.
